"Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2" falls short despite some solid aspects, ultimately feeling underwhelming and safe. Initially intrigued by the success of Vol. 1, I found the singles lacking, with only "New To You" featuring Tinashe standing out. However, even the deep cuts failed to impress. While the album is not bad and boasts decent qualities, such as well-produced instrumentals, it lacks memorable highlights and features that truly shine. Most of the feature combinations fell flat, leaving me disappointed overall. Despite its admirable qualities, "Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2" ultimately failed to meet my expectations, and I doubt I'll revisit it frequently.
