See You Next Year 2

This album is amazing, its such a great culmination of unique, modern, and upcoming sounds. Each and every feature does an amazing job and works super well together, compared to the first edition of the SYNY mixtape this project is infinitely more cohesive with each track feeling like it perfectly segways into the next. The production is spectacular, allowing for each individual artist to flourish in their respective sounds and tendencies, with my favorite being chase plato on 223’s with his signature electric guitar riff and screams. Each feature perfectly fits the weird indie-esque theme of this album that is completely unique from any other mixtapes and collaboration albums in recent times. Every track is memorable and different from each other, what amazes me is that they all have the exact same sonic vibe to them using non conforming lyricism and production. What Pigs and Planes is doing to music and each year with these SYNY projects continues to impress and i’m sure in a year or two they will continue to improve exponentially, very very exciting.
